Try making this simple The Botanist & Whin on the Rocks gin cocktail recipe. Gently crush locally picked whin (Gorse) flowers to give a buttery coconut alternative to a citrus slice.
  • 50ml The Botanist gin
  • Ice
  • A handful of Whin (Gorse) flowers
Instructions for making the The Botanist & Whin on the Rocks cocktail:
  1. Add lots of ice to the glass
  2. Pour the gin and top up with premium tonic water
  3. Garnish with Whin (gorse) flowers
  4. Drink!

Whin is a tricky flower to pick…it’s a prickly soul, and without careful handling and maybe a pair of gloves, it can have the forager sending the air blue!
