Olive Oil Martini

This Olive Oil martini recipe uses an easy, trending technique to “wash” gin with olive oil, drawing out the grassy notes in The Botanist.

  • 70ml (2½ oz) The Botanist
  • 15ml (½ oz) dry vermouth
  • 15ml (½ oz) olive oil
Instructions for making the Olive Oil Martini cocktail:
  1. Add all ingredients in a jar or similar container.
  2. Shake and place in the freezer overnight.
  3. Fine strain into a mixing glass and stir over ice.
  4. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  5. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a zest of lemon and, if desired, a few drops of olive oil on the surface of the cocktail.
