Stradbroke Sling

  • 45ml Botanist Gin
  • 20ml Lemon juice
  • 15ml Pandanus Syrup
  • 15ml Pig Face & Hibiscus liqueur
  • 2 dash orange bitters
  • 2 dash sea salt solution
  • Frangipani Garnish

Growing up Stradbroke and it’s surrounding island’s were a huge part of my life, so i wanted to make a drink that captured the essence of these beautiful islands and the beach culture they inspired. The Result is a well balanced tall refreshing drink to sip on those hot spring/summer day’s, kick back and enjoy


Pour All ingredients except for the pigface/hibiscus liqueur into highball, fill with crushed ice and mix ingredients through with a bar spoon, crown the highball with crushed ice and drizzle remaining 15ml of pigface/hibiscus liqueur, add straw and garnish with a frangipani.

Pandanus fruit syrup-ripe pandanus fruit segments to be removed from core and soft tip cut of, Blend soft segments of fruit with water and fine strain. boil the juice before adding equal parts sugar ( juice needs to be boiled for a couple of minutes to remove an irritant in the fruit that can agitate the throat). Pig Face Hibiscus Liqueur: Boil Pig face fruits and Hibiscus in water then add sugar equal parts to the water added. once cooled and strained into a syrup add white neutral spirit
