The Botanist Peach & Peppercorn Smash

A juicy and aromatic smash that pairs ripe stone fruit with fresh basil and citrus. The Botanist's floral complexity lifts the sweetness of peach while pink peppercorns adds a gentle spice and fragrant finish.

  • 40ml The Botanist Islay Dry Gin
  • 1 peach half from a jar/can plus 2 barspoons of peach juice
  • 20ml lemon juice
  • 15ml honey
  • 5 basil leaves
  • pink peppercorns

Method

  1. Muddle the peach half in a shaker, then add all the ingredients except the peppercorns and shake again with ice
  2. Double strain into an ice-filled rocks glass
  3. Garnish with the pink peppercorns and another basil leaf, if desired
